I am taking time off this week. Next week I will start on a new project, and this was the ideal week to have a break. Yesterday I went to the Zoo; in all the time we have been living here, I have never before been to the zoo. The Zoo has its own train station, and is approximately 10 minutes away from the city center. From the platform, you can see the entrance gates. It was a beautiful and sunny day, but because it was in the middle of the day and not in tourist season, there were few visitors. I was mostly impressed by the butterflies, the platypus, the big aviary, the tree kangaroos and the group of gorillas.There is also a big variety of leopards, tigers and lions.
